'Cherry Blossom Girl' - Air
'Cherry Blossom Girl' is seriously one of a kind. The vulnerability in the vocals, and sultry guitar instrumentals create this sense of nostalgia which Air never fail to encapsulate in their work.

'Freetown Sound' - Blood Orange
'Freetown Sound' as a whole has remained my favourite Blood Orange project to date. I first heard the track 'Best To You' when I was 12, and I would genuinely say that experience changed my perception of modern music. 'Squash Squash' features beautifully melancholic vocals provided by Bea1991, making it my favourite track of his. The album is a heartbreaking exploration into identity, with poignant excerpts highlighting Hynes' passion and empathy towards the subject matter.

'Diplomat's Son' - Vampire Weekend
'Contra' is Vampire Weekend at their most playful, with 'Diplomat's Son' expressing displays of youth and romance through vibrant instrumentals and soft vocals.

"Her sound continues to become more innovative with each release"

'Fidelity' - The Durruti Column

'Fidelity' is a cult staple of Manchester's electronic music scene. The tracks blend gentle lyricism with upbeat synths, making for an incredibly satisfying listen. This is one of those albums you'll wish you could listen to for the first time all over again.

'New Avatar' - Kelela

'New Avatar' is Kelela at her most ambitious. The album implements influences of rock, shoegaze, garage, and r&b to create an atmospheric insight into her mind. Her sound continues to become more innovative with each release, and 'New Avatar' is proof that she has mastered the art of pushing boundaries.

'Come Closer' - Sombr

Sombr is a generational talent. At just 21, he writes and produces his music independently, implementing himself as one of the biggest voices in mainstream music. 'Come Closer' is clever, exhilarating, and catchy. It encapsulates the feeling of youthful romance in a nutshell.
